Hola!

Cómo están?

He visto un blog en el que se hacen propuestas para la escritura creativa. La última es sobre escribir sobre sentimientos y sensaciones basada en los olores, un poco extraño no?

De todas maneras decidí intentarlo, aunque hay un pequeño detalle, es en inglés

Pensé que, a pesar de eso, era una buena forma de practicar tanto mi inglés, como mi escritura, por lo que decidí intentarlo -Sin traductor-.

Espero que les guste aún así.

The smell of the rain, fresh and warm at the same time. It reminds me of him as much as I try to think of something else, but it's still there, the thought of us, of what could've been.

So, I walk faster, looking for something to distract my mind, just to find a new and delicious smell.

There's a coffee shop crossing the street, but even from here I can feel the smell of cupcakes just made, sweet and provocative, I look at my clock, I still have time to take a short break.

As I enter the shop, a waiter walks in front of me, he was taking hot chocolate to some table. It makes me realise how cold I am; the feeling of wanting the warm and sweetness that drink can provide me, gives me chills, so I decide to make a quick order.

When I walk out of the shop, I see the sky, the clouds are moving to let the sun shine. There's a floristry next to me, so the sun makes the flowers brighter and their different kinds of smells makes me realise something. That even if everything with him seems over, doesn't mean that everything else does too. I smile, it surely has made my day. Now, I have hope.
